Detour Dance, SevanKelee Boult, Nefertiti Asanti and Davia Spain present hot off the press and out of the rehearsal studio new work! Join us for an explosive multi-disciplinary night of new art.

Detour Dance presents a work-in-progress of FUGUE, a theatrical journey to a lost city. Based on forgotten stories from Queers, people of color and long-time residents of San Francisco, the performance is a foray into nostalgia and utopian yearnings. Through contemporary dance, song and text, detour dance invokes past and future memories of San Francisco that capture our current cultural amnesia.

FUGUE is set to premiere December 1-10, 2017 in San Francisco’s Mission District.

FUGUE (Work-in-Progress) Performers: Jose Abad, Arletta Anderson, Jana Griffin, Melissa Lewis, Megan Lowe, Scott Marlowe, Angela Mazziotta, Karla Quintero and Sienna Williams
